Effective from beginning of April 2011 has VG Power opened a new office in Kristinehamn with turbine experts available for the Swedish market. We are already working with several projects in Sweden together with our partners from Voith Hydro, one example is the ongoing installation of the first new Kaplan unit in Akkats.
- Our employees in the new office has together a very long experience from turbine business and they will for sure contribute in our strive for increased presence on the Swedish market says Magnus Wenna, marketing director for VG Power.
Voith Hydro is one of the world leading suppliers for turbines and our target is to improve the position also in Sweden. Product range is everything from small hydro packages manufactured by Kössler up to the largest Kaplan- and Francis turbines with support from Voith Hydro. With our local presence we also make it easier for Swedish clients and there are also advantages to have a supplier with full competence of the complete unit.
